Digital Media Manager for Kapono Inc. Production "Home in the Islands Music Festival" at the Waikīkī Shell, Honolulu, HI.
WHAT WE DID
For Henry Kapono's star-studded concert, I collaborated with Henry Kapono and Kapono Inc.'s executive leadership to create a standout brand and multimedia ad campaign, capturing Hawaiʻi’s top talent at the state’s premier venue. I led the design for all marketing channels, including major broadcast networks, ensuring a cohesive and impactful visual presence across TV, social media, radio, email, and print. From t-shirts and signage to LED displays and VIP materials, every detail was carefully crafted to elevate the experience.
On show day, I played a key role handling event photography and serving as a liaison for Kapono Inc., coordinating with the Talent Director, over 50 creative talent, and various teams to ensure a flawless and unforgettable experience for VIP guests and behind-the-scenes operations.
RESULT
The campaign was a tremendous success, reaching over 6 million viewers through social media, TV, radio, email, and print advertising, leading to a sold-out concert event. As the first major event following the COVID-19 pandemic, it marked a powerful return to live music and connection. The show was filmed for a documentary about Hawaiian Island culture and was proudly sponsored by the state of Hawaiʻi and some of the most respected brands, celebrating the spirit of the islands in a truly unforgettable way.
